From Passion to Purpose
A quiet coffee in the morning, a good book with a cat (sometimes two) curled up on my lap, baking for friends, cooking with fresh, local ingredients, walking in nature, slipping into freshly laundered sheets — these are the simple pleasures that keep me grounded and grateful.
That sense of presence — of finding the sacred in the everyday — has always been part of me. In many ways, Reiki feels like an extension of that. A deep remembering. Looking back, I can see it was always with me, quietly waiting. As a child, I was sensitive to the world around me, attuned to energy and emotion, though I didn’t have the words for it then.
I was drawn to the esoteric from an early age and took my first trip to India at 21. Since then, I’ve spent more than half my life living and working across Asia — experiences that shaped me in ways I’m still uncovering.
Over the years, I’ve travelled widely, worked in drama and communications, and immersed myself in different cultures. I’ve crossed paths with inspiring teachers — some of them wonderfully unexpected — and slowly, something began to shift. Reiki took root — gently, but deeply.
I’ve always felt a connection to mountains — their stillness, their strength — and now, living among them in Chiang Mai, I feel incredibly fortunate to share this practice with others. For me, Reiki is about connection, balance, and returning to the quiet light we all carry within us.
If you're feeling curious or drawn to this work, you're very welcome here. Reiki has a way of meeting us just where we are — and if you feel ready, I’d love to walk with you as you begin your own journey.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, hands-on healing practice that originated in Japan in the early 20th century, founded by Dr Mikao Usui. It works by channelling universal life energy to support the body’s natural healing processes, helping to release tension and pain, restore balance, and promote deep relaxation - leading to overall wellbeing.
Many people come to Reiki for relief from stress, emotional blockages, physical discomfort, or illness, while others use it as a tool for personal growth, clarity, and spiritual connection.
A Reiki treatment is deeply relaxing. You may experience a sense of calm, renewed energy, emotional release, or subtle shifts in how you feel — often on more than one level. Reiki gently brings you back to centre, helping you move through life with greater ease and balance.
The Benefits of Reiki
Growing Awareness and Research
Over the past two decades, Reiki has become increasingly recognised as a valuable healing practice. As more people look for natural approaches to support their health, Reiki is gaining acceptance within both wellness and medical communities. It’s now commonly offered in settings dedicated to holistic wellbeing, including wellness centres, spas, and private clinics.
In some countries, such as the United States, UK, and Canada, hospitals and healthcare systems are also beginning to integrate Reiki into patient care. Within these programmes, Reiki is often used alongside conventional medicine to help manage pain, ease stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and support overall wellbeing during treatment or recovery.
